Integrating Determine contracts with Salesforce contacts to drive business opportunities.

The following screenshots show you how easy it is to request, manage and collaborate on contracts between our Salesforce app and Determine Contact Management solution.
The process shown in the screens below toggles between what you will see when you’re in our Contract Management App for Salesforce (the App), and what approvers and collaborators will see in Determine Contract Management (DCM). The whole contract request process happens almost as fast as reading it here.
Requesting a contract in the Determine Contract Management App for Salesforce
Opportunity knocks, in this case selling equipment to Taco Shack. Because their data is all in Salesforce, it automatically creates a customer listing in the App when the contract process begins. It synchronizes immediately, including any contacts.
Simply by clicking New Determine Contract in the App, you’ll be able to choose the type of contract – in this case a Sales Agreement – and start the request.
In the request window, you’ll fill in primary contact, description, term length, any other details and add additional documents if needed – counterparty paper, etc. – and submit the request.
Back in Salesforce, you can verify that all the information is accurate; as the contract transitions in the App and DCM, the status is automatically reflected on the Salesforce page.
Transitioning the contract request into a contract project in Determine Contract Management
Over in DCM, a contract approver is notified that a request was created, what it’s all about and even a link to the original Salesforce opportunity.
From there the approver creates the contract project, adds details like jurisdiction, chooses a contract template and type from the clause library.
At that point the actual contract document has been created and is ready for collaboration and approval, which continues the conversation with the App and Salesforce
Back in the App, the requester sees the contract status has changed, with a link to the actual contract document.
The contract itself can be opened in the attachment viewer to see the actual document – ready to sign and execute. It’s that simple.
